Doctors across the state including those registered with the Indian Medical Council (IMA) on Tuesday met the South Goa Superintendent of Police (SP) and demanded stern action against the accused, who on Monday assaulted Babu Redkar, an aged doctor in his clinic in Carmona.

We are in the process of collecting information of the co-accused J George Mary who is absconding. We also gathered that she has left for UAE but it has to be confirmed. We will file a charge-sheet within next fifteen days. We will also issue look-out circular.”
