VASCO: Four two wheelers were damaged after a huge Anona Hexapetala (Chafa) tree uprooted and collapsed near Coast Guard Goa headquarters at Mormugao Harbour on Monday morning.
According to information available from Mormugao police, the incident was reported at around 10.30 am.
The Mormugao police disclosed that four two-wheelers were trapped under the tree. Motorcycle pilots and other people in the surrounding areas immediately intimated the police who rushed to the site and cleared the tree.
The Mormugao police conducted the panchanama and registered the case as accident. Head constable Atmaram Kamble is further investigating the case, under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak.
