Special court, under the Prevention of Corruption Act, has directed the Crime Branch to furnish a copy of closure report to the complainant, filed in the alleged Serula comunidade cheating and land grab case.
The court will now on September 9 hear arguments in the case. Advocate Aires Rodrigues had submitted before judge that, in terms of the law laid down by the Supreme Court, he as the complainant in the case was entitled to a copy of the closure report. In his complaint, advocate Rodrigues had drawn the court’s attention that the 599 square metre of prime land on the Chogm road at Porvorim was given away to Dilip Parulekar allegedly without any auction and without following the procedure contemplated under the Code of Comunidade.
