The Crime Branch police on Wednesday foiled an attempt to organise bullfights at Bhate-Agaccaim.
Based on a source information, the Crime Branch police team, headed by PI Dattaguru Sawant under the supervision of SP Karthik Kashyap, raided the area. A huge crowd had gathered to witness the fights; however, there were no bulls seen on the site.
On seeing police, the crowd dispersed. Police are on the lookout for the organisers who had scheduled the bullfights at Bhate-Agaccaim.
According to police, around 5000 people had gathered and a total six bullfights were expected to be held at the venue. Sources informed that 12 bulls were to reach the venue however before that the police raided the
place.
