BJP working to improve life of people: Mhapshenkar

While lauding the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for distributing LED bulbs free of cost to households in the state, BJP Panaji mandal block president Deepak Mhapshenkar said that in other states people were charged Rs 70 per house for the LED bulbs.
Addressing media, the mandal chief along with Shantaram Naik, Vanita Bhingui, Sanjeev Dessai and Vishnu Naik said that the BJP government is continuously working towards improving the life of people in the state.
He said the BJP has started many schemes for the upliftment of different sections of society such as, Griha Aadhar, Laadli Laxmi, Seamen scheme, Dayanand Social security scheme and now Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana for providing support to families on medical emergencies.
He said under the scheme, a family of 3 will get upto Rs 2.5 lakh and a family of 4 or more will get Rs 4 lakh worth medical cover.
He said that self attested photocopies of original documents are required such as Aadhar card, ration card, residence proof of eligible persons, passbook, residence certificate, election card, driving licence issued with minimum 5 years in the state.
He said that those who have not done their health insurance can do the same by approaching Sunil Gangani office, opposite Hotel Nova Goa on August 18, Mahalaxmi Trust, Ribandar, on August 19, Chandradeep Apartments Manaswada-Ribandar on August 21, Maruti Temple, Boca de Vaca Panaji (the above timings between 5 and 7 pm) and August 28 at Suraj Kande Residence, Mala, Panaji between 3.30 p.m and 6.30 p.m.
He also said that the GSIDC vice-president and Panaji MLA Siddarth Kunkalienker is making all efforts to fulfil the election promises given to voters.
