CM allocates corporations; MGP’s Pauskar gets GSIDC

Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) Sanvordem MLA Deepak Prabhu Pauskar has been appointed as chairman of the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) while two-time BJP Aldona MLA Glenn Ticlo has been allocated the chairmanship of Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC).

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar Wednesday allocated corporations to all his legislators excluding three-time Mormugao BJP MLA and former minister Milind Naik and Independent MLA from Sanguem Prasad Gaonkar.

A few days back, Parrikar had re-appointed two-time Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral as the chairman of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) and Panaji MLA Sidharth Kuncalienkar was appointed as the chairman of Goa Economic Development Corporation (EDC). The Chief Minister has issued an order appointing Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida as the chairman of Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC), which he handled for the last five years, Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar as the chairman of Goa Handicraft Rural and Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (GHRSSIDC) and Mayem MLA Pravin Zantye as the chairman of Goa State Horticulture Development Corporation. Besides, former minister and Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha has been appointed as the chairman of Goa Rehabilitation Board.

Parrikar said that corporations to the remaining two MLAs will be allotted in the next week.
